DRAWING AND MUSIC SESSION ~ CATCHING MOVEMENTS (Tango) @ Oblomov Kreuzkoelln
„Making Art means being able to create something that hasn´t been there yet; and also we can desire something with Art, that is comparable with the original power of nature.“
(Jean-Luc Nancy in his famous speech „Why do you need Art?“)
Drawing is a tool to express yourself. While we draw we are creating a picture coming from our individual, deep inner-self.
Our intention is to create a space where we have fun improving our drawing skills without any judgement and to find the timeless joy of expressing while inspiring each other.
CATCHING MOVEMENTS (Tango)
For this special session we are infinitely happy to welcome our good friends and talented dancers, Kerstin und Julian.
They will pose and dance for us enchanting our eyes with the magic of TANGO.
Again you will train your eyes as an artist, discover the motive and human physique.
You also learn to translate what you observe into your own individual drawing in order to express yourself.
First we will give some simple and basic instructions about figure drawing and later we will show some inspirations.
As usual Luca will support your creative process with his music, enriching the atmosphere and amplifying the feeling expressed by the posture.
The session is open to every level. If you are already advanced, feel free to join us with your own tools. Whereas for those who are new, we offer all the material including sign boards, drawing papers, different pencils, coal etc. So you can find out what medium works best for you.
In order to appreciate the models effort, we ask for a 10 Euro donation.
Due corona restrictions the session will be limited to a number of 15 persons.
Looking very forward seeing you in Oblomov!
